Summer Academies and Block Tutorials
BGCE Research Day
The BGCE research day is a regular advanced seminar on current topics in computational engineering. There are usually three seminar sessions per semester.
Please refer to the research day page for more information on past and future sessions.

Summer and Winter Academies
The Bavarian Graduate Schools and its members offer courses within several summer and winter academies. In 2010, these will be:

Intensive Courses and Block Tutorials
Additional courses are offered as block lectures/tutorials or intensive courses, often given by guest professors.
In 2010, the following courses were or will be offered:
- Joint course with KTH Stockholm:
Numerical Methods for Hyperbolic Systems
(Jesper Oppelstrupp)
(Erlangen, August 9-13, 2010)) - Joint course at KTH Stockholm:
Advanced numerical techniques with applications in image processing
(Prof. Ulrich Rüde)
(Stockholm, March 15-19, 2010)
See the list of previous courses for earlier block courses and block tutorials.
Further Scientific Activities
- Jülich, Institute of Biotechnology:
ASIM-Workshop "Trends in Computational Science and Engineering: Foundations of Modeling and Simulation"
(Jülich, March 3-5, 2010)
